During a Monday (4/29/19), traffic stop for equipment violations on a 2004 Cadillac, NBPD Officers encountered two suspects who were arrested for possession and trafficking in drugs. Arrested were Sean Freeman age 30 of Sciotoville and Ronald Amburgey age 53 of New Boston. During a search of their vehicle after criminal indicators were seen, Capt. Robert Deerfield and Officer Kyle Galloway found approximately 20 grams of meth along with marijuana, digital scales and other drug related paraphernalia. Both suspects were transported to NBPD for booking and processing and later taken to the Scioto County Jail for court appearance on Tuesday. Once this case is presented to the Scioto County Prosecutor's Office additional criminal charges could be added for Grand Jury consideration on indictments.
